This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 8 Chapters, establishes the State Policy to Promote Cooperatives' Economy, the Cooperative Program, the Program for Popular and Solidarity Economy, the State Program to Strengthen Local Production Chains and the Gaucho Micro-credit Program and the Program for Cooperation Networks. This State Policy is a tool for promoting economic development of the state, the diversification of market chains and local clusters, cooperation between companies and institutions, the popular and solidarity economy, self-management, collective learning, innovation and export culture. The State Policy seen as a guidelines for the Promotion of Economic Cooperation aims at promoting the following sectors: economic development of productive chains, regions and local economies; development with distribution of wealth and income produced socially in order to boost endogenous development; chains and local clusters, networks of cooperation and the popular and solidarity economy and microcredit as instruments of economic and regional development; strengthening the productive enterprises; adding value to products, companies and labor; promoting solidarity, cooperation, association and the creation of networks as a means of strengthening economic activity; stimulating self-organization businesses, workers and institutions in Local Productive Arrangements with participatory governance, coordination and self development plan; etc.
