This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 6 articles, creates the Special Fund for Agriculture and Livestock Protection (FUNDAGRO), established by Law No. 12.506. FUNDAGRO will use its resources in activities related to: the indenisation due to slaughtering for sanitary reasons of any animal suspected, or infected by contagious foot and mouth disease, already included in the National and State Programme of sanitary control; activities related to animal and plant health protection and control, and for sanitary education purpose.
