This Law enters into force after 5 years from its publication.
Abstract

This Law amends Law No. 11.445 establishes the national guidelines for basic sanitation, and provides for the following mandatory individual measurement of water consumption for new condominium buildings. It specifies that the new condominium buildings will adopt environmental sustainability standards that include, among other procedures, the individual measurement of water consumption for each new building.
