Abstract The scope of this Law shall be to improve energy efficiency of edifices with the consideration of climate conditions, requirements related to internal climate, and economic efficiency. This Law shall regulate application of minimum mandatory energy efficiency requirements and certification of energy efficiency thereof with a view of compliance with the provisions of national plan for increase of edifices with almost zero energy consumption. Certificate of energy efficiency shall be considered the document attesting energy efficiency of edifices calculated in conformity with the methodology of calculation of energy efficiency indices. Edifice with almost zero energy consumption shall be considered high energy efficiency edifices due to efficient thermal protection and high level of energy consumption from renewable energy sources.
