Abstract This Law amends Law No. 771 on State Policy on Forestry sector. Amendments deal with forest and native plant specific legislation and requirements to be satisfied to exploit them and establishes prohibited timber extraction regulation within Legal Reserve areas. In addition, it lists integral protected areas and establishes competent Forestry State Authority, called Naturatins, entitled to authorize any forestry activity within these areas for forestry products exploitation.
