Abstract

This Law, consisting of 12 articles, creates the State Programme for the Development of the Family Aquaculture Production Chain, as well as use resources to promote activities to support and encourage the activity. This State Programme, under the State Executive Branch using resources from the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, promotes actions to support and encourage the activity of fish farming in the implantation phase (construction of tanks), aiming to increase production and generate incomes to rural families through specific projects. The beneficiaries of the Programme must be producers or land tenants of rural holdings, settlements and fisher-folks, located in the municipalities of the State. Farmers who wish to participate in the programme must comply with the requirements of the National Programme on Family Agriculture (PRONAF) of the Federal Government.
