This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting 14 articles, provides for the State Policy of Cooperatives within the State of Amapá. The State Executive will act in order to stimulate activities when the State Cooperative Policy is established, cooperative activities, under the terms of Federal Law no. 5.764, encouraging a support system for the continuous growth of cooperative activity. The objectives of the State Policy of Cooperatives are: to create instruments and mechanisms to stimulate the continuous growth of cooperative activities in the State; to provide educational and technical assistance to cooperatives based in the State of Amapá; to establish incentives for the constitution, maintenance, promotion and development of the cooperative system of the State; to facilitate the contact of the cooperative between its partners; to support cooperatives by promoting partnerships for the development of the Cooperative System in the State, promoting partnerships for the development of the State Cooperative System; to stimulate the cooperative form of social, economic and cultural organization in the various branches of action, based on the general principles of society and current legislation; to stimulate the inclusion of the study of cooperative in schools aiming at a change in the organization of production; to create a mechanism for sorting and qualifying informality for the implementation of new cooperative societies; to spread government policies in favour of state cooperative societies; etc.
