Law No. 11.241 regulating the gradual elimination of the practice of burning sugar cane straw.

This Law, composed of 15 articles, regulates the gradual elimination of fire as method for removing straw from sugar cane for its cleaving. In particular, it provides technical norms for eliminating sugar cane straw and defines the exceptions to such veto. Moreover, it defines authorization procedures and the competent authorities.
