Abstract This Law establishes a General Butcher Service, as part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, and defines its duties. This service will be the licensing authority and will be responsible for the technical and sanitary issues. It will also examine the animal before its slaughtering and the meat after its processing.
