Abstract

This Law amends articles 9, 13 and 14 of the State Land Code. Amendments deal with administrative and legal proceedings of the above mentioned Code. In particular, they aim at regulating licensing for occupied and productive areas, provided that the following requirements are met: I - size less than 2,500 hectares; II - direct or indirect exploitation, by the occupant and his family; III - effective cultivation of the area; IV - peaceful occupation. The criteria of use and occupation necessary to fit the area in the caput of this article will be defined by an INTERMAT Act. If the occupant, 90 days after personal communication, does not shows interest in acquiring ownership of the land, it may be sold to third parties by bidding procedure.
