This Law enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Law rules on National System for seeds and seedlings, to be further implemented, within 90 days, by the Government. It is composed of 52 articles divided into 14 Chapters, dealing with: Preliminary Provisions (Chapter 1); National System of Seeds and seedlings(Chapter 2); National registry for seeds and seedlings, (Chapter 3); National Registry of cultivation- RNC (Chapter 4); Production and Certification (Chapter 5); Analysis of seeds and seedlings, (Chapter 6); Internal Trade (Chapter 7); International Trade (Chapter 8); Seeds and seedlings, Use (Chapter 9); Control Measures (Chapter 10); Commissions of seeds and seedlings, (Chapter 11); Prohibitions (Chapter 12); Protection Measures and Penalties (Chapter 13); Final Provisions (Chapter 14).
