Abstract This Law, consisting of 10 articles, defines specified tourist activities as activities of "Rural Tourism in Family Farming" (TRAF). TRAF are all tourist activities that occur in the family farmer units and maintain the typical economic activities of family agriculture, willing to value, respect and share their way of life, cultural heritage, offering quality products and services and providing well-being to those involved. TRAF includes the following forms: marketing in artisanal local natural food products; marketing of processed products of animal and plant origin; marketing of handicrafts, demonstration of their production practices with use of plant, animal or mineral products origin; rural production through demonstrations on the techniques of production; environmental education, through educational visits related to the environment and/or agricultural activities; typical food preparation; lodging services, inns, hostels, etc. that are involved with rural production; environmental services in natural and legally protected areas (Legal Reserve, Permanent Preservation Area, Private Natural Heritage Reserve); cultural heritage, etc. Full text Portuguese Website www.al.mt.gov.br
