This Law enters into force on the date of its publication.
Abstract

This Law prohibits the use of mercury and sodium cyanide in mining activity in order to avoid freshwater pollution. It consists of 6 articles prohibiting the use of the said harmful substances within the rivers of the State of Minas Gerais.
