Abstract This Law, consisting of 6 articles, provides for rainwater harvesting and storage system to be used in all existing industries and those that are to be installed in the State of Paraiba. It establishes that all new installed industries within the State of Paraíba are obliged to install a rainwater harvesting and storage system, to being used in situations that do not require the use of drinking water, with the purpose of industrial activity. It will be mandatory to submit a draft project for the installation of rainwater harvesting, storage and use to the competent State supervisory body by the new industries that will be installed in the state of Paraiba.
