Abstract This Law, consisting of 17 articles, provides for the mandatory inspection of products and by-products of animal origin within the State of Espírito Santo. This Law establishes the requirements and regulates the obligation of prior inspection for products and by-products of animal origin intended for human consumption or not, produced in the State of Espírito Santo. The inspection will be carried out on the following animal products: animals aimed for slaughtering, their products and by-products; fish and fish products; milk and milk products; eggs and their derivatives; and bee honey, wax and its derivatives.
