Abstract

This Law, consisting of 11 articles divided into four Chapters, creates the Administrative Judging Board for Infringement Appeals within the Institute of Agricultural and Livestock Protection of the State of Mato Grosso (JARI/INDEA/MT). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Board, entitled to appeal against the administrative sanctions imposed for violation of the legislation applied by INDEA/MT. It is under the competence of JARI/INDEA/MT: to analyze and adjudicate the appeals filed by the first instance decisions on the infraction notices drawn up by INDEA/MT; request additional information regarding INDEA/MT processes, aiming at a better analysis and instruction of the process; forward to the Technical Board and Coordinators any information resulting from irregularities observed in the processes and suggest the adoption of measures; formulate its rules; verify matters of public order, notably the institute of limitation and, when necessary, proceed to judgment.
