This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 15 articles divided into four Chapters, provides for the creation of the Council for Agricultural Business Development (CDAE). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, as an advisory, propositional, normative and a senior advisory body with the objective of proposing, discussing and approving norms and criteria aimed at promoting the development of the agricultural business sector, following the orientation of government policies. The CDAE is linked to the Secretariat of State for Economic Development (SEDEC) and is entitled to: I - study, comment, follow and propose on the planning, policies, guidelines and strategies of the State's economic development in the agricultural sector; II - resolve on requests for fiscal and financial incentives for the sector, in accordance with specific legislation; III - give an opinion, when requested by the Executive Power, on matters related to the agricultural business sector in the State; IV - represent the various segments of the state's agricultural business sector; V - form, temporarily or permanently, commission, sectoral or thematic chambers to deal with specific matters of interest to the business agricultural sector; VI - promote operational support and improvement of relations with the State Government entities and organizations representing organized social groups, within the area of ​​action of the State Secretariat for Economic Development - SEDEC; VII - cooperate in the implementation of actions and instruments relating to corporate agriculture: agricultural planning activities, technological research, information, production, marketing, supply and storage, associations, cooperatives, vocational training and rural education, public and private investments, rural credit guarantee agro-silvopastoral activity, agricultural insurance, taxation and incentives, irrigation and drainage, agricultural mechanization, animal health inspection and agrosilvopastoral defes as legislation; VIII - perform in the State the functions of the State Council of Animal Health and Agricultural Inspection and Defense, and those established by the National Council of Agricultural Policy, composed of Technical Chambers specialized in products, inputs, commercialization, storage, transport, credit, insurance and other components of rural business activity, in accordance with the current legislation, etc.
