This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, composed of 18 articles, rules on the renegotiation and extension of debts from rural credit transactions within Agrarian Reform’s Special Credit Programme (PROCERA) and the National Programme for Strengthening Family Farming (PRONAF). The beneficiaries of such credits are family farmers, small farmers, their related associations as well as cooperatives. The Law specifies deadlines for credit renegotiation, managing authorities and the credit distribution criteria.
