Abstract This Law regulates activities related to the cultivation of walnut plantations on land outside the territory of the state forest fund, including the use of walnut fruits, wood, production and sale of nut products, purchase, procurement, manufacturing of products, felling, and growing planting material. Conservation, development and growth of the production potential of walnut plantations shall be regulated by authorized bodies established by the Government of Kyrgyz Republic. Activities related to the cultivation of the walnut plantation and production of nuts, trade, cultivation of planting material on land located in the state or municipal property, shall be performed by agreement with state bodies, local self-government bodies in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on the effective use of land plot and only for its intended purpose. Walnut plantations located on land of state property shall be the property of the state. Walnut plantations located on land of municipal property, shall be the property of local self-government.
