This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 6 Chapters, establishes the baselines for protecting aquatic resources and promotes aquaculture in the State of Rondonia. It specifies the requirements to be satisfied and regulates fishing activity, in order to manage and preserve any aquatic resources within the State of Rondonia. The Law is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (Chap. I); Fishing activity methods (Chap. II); Fishing licence and register (Chap. III); Sanctions and penalties (Chap. IV); Detention (Chap. V); Final provisions (Chap. VI).
