This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 6 articles, establishes the National Policy on Conservation and Rational Use of Energy. This National Policy aims at the efficient allocation of energy resources and the preservation of the environment. It states that the Executive will establish maximum levels of specific energy consumption or minimum energy efficiency of machines that use energy produced or marketed in the country, based on relevant technical indicators.
