This Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Law regulates relations between consumers and producers (manufacturers, suppliers of services), establishes the rights of consumers and the mechanism of protection thereof. Consumers shall have the following rights: (a) protection of consumer rights by the state; (b) adequate and proper quality of produce and services; (c) safety of produce; (d) timely access to complete and reliable information on produce and quality thereof; (e) reimbursement and compensation of material and moral damages caused by inadequate quality of produce and services; (f) legal protection in court; and (g) setting up consumers’ associations.
