Abstract

This Law, consisting of 11 Chapters, establishes the Agriculture Policy within the State of Acre. The Agriculture Policy is a Regional tool to implement and regulate: agricultural products, marketing, agro-industry and supply in order to improve the sustainable rural development at State level. The Law is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (Chap. I); Objectives (Chap. II); Planning and Institutional Organization (Chap. III); Production and productivity (Chap. IV); Agricultural products marketing (Chap. V); Agro-Industry (Chap. VI); Rural Organization (Chap. VII); Natural resources and environment (Chap. VIII); Rural Social Infrastructure (Chap. IX); Action tools (Chap. X); Final provisions (Chap. XI).
