Abstract This Law, consisting of 17 articles, establishes the State Policy on Renewable Energy Generation Supply (GDER). This Law implements the rules of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) for Generation Supply through small Renewable Energy, as defined in Resolution ANEEL 482/12, whose power limits are defined in art. 14, of Federal Decree No. 5163/2004, and which is connected to the local power distribution system. It authorizes the concessionaires of electric power operating in the State of Rio Grande do Norte to carry out research and perform rural extension activity to assist, train, guide and validate, if necessary, technical projects to attend the State demand of electric power.
