This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters, provides for the sanitary licensing of small scale or artisanal family agribusiness establishments, entitled to processing and marketing agricultural products in the State of Maranhão. It establishes sanitary procedures to be fulfilled by all family agro-industrial establishments, including small scale or artisanal, which produce, process and market agricultural products within the State of Maranhão, in order to be licensed by competent organizations to control or health protection in the State.
