This Law enters into force 30 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law consists of 7 Chapters divided into 30 articles. Chapter 1 gives terms and definitions. Chapter 2 deals with licences necessary for well drilling and digging, licence's requirements, and with procedures for obtaining licences. Chapter 3 and 4 provide for drilling licences. Chapter 5 pertains to water use, areas to be irrigated, and maintenance of wells. Chapter 6 and 7 contain offences and penalties, and general and final provisions.
