This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Law, consisting of 9 articles and one Annex, creates the Amapá Fisheries Agency (PESCAP). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of PESCAP, as a State authority, with legal personality under public law, linked to the State Secretariat for Rural Development, with administrative and financial autonomy, headquarters and jurisdiction in the Macapá Region. PESCAP has the purpose to implement a state policy aimed at supporting the development of artisanal and industrial fishing activities, aquaculture and other related activities specified in the text.
