The Act deals with existing authorizations, legal proceedings, enforcement measures, etc. and other transitional matters, and provides with respect to the continuing into existence of subsidiary legislation issued under the repealed Acts. Act SFS 1420 of 2018 introduces amendments in sections 39 and 41 regarding the applicability of provisions of the Water Act (1918:523).
