Abstract

This Law amends various provisions of the Seed Law. It adds definitions for Parental Line and Perennial Crop. Further, amendments are made to sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, 33 and 39. The Law also makes minor amendments to many provisions by substituting certain expressions such as National Seed Committee is changed to National Seed-related Committee; Myanmar Agriculture Service is changed to Department of Agriculture; seed category to crop category in section 16(b) and so on.
