Abstract

These Rules make further provision for procedural requirements fin relation with an application for new tenancy made under section 4 of the Landlord and Tenant Act and various other applications under sections 12 (order for a new tenancy), 18 (revocation of an order), 28 (determination of rent)and 7 (rent) of the Act. If on the day fixed for the hearing of an application to the High Court under section four of the Act the Registrar is satisfied that: (a) the parties to the application have agreed on the subject, period and terms of the new tenancy; (b) the owner of any reversionary interest in the property consents thereto; and (c) there are no other persons with interests in the property who are likely to be affected, the Registrar shall have power to make an order giving effect to the agreement.
