The Act provides for making of tenancy agreement in written, by word of mouth, in the form of data message or implied from the conduct of the parties. The Act lays out the tenancy terms and conditions, repairing obligations for each side of the agreement, liability for payment of the utility charges, and duties and obligations of landlords and tenants. The text further provides provision for rent and security deposit, assignment of tenancy by tenant and subletting of premises. Final parts of the text describe the termination of tenancy by landlord or tenant, vacation of premises on termination and unlawful eviction of tenant. The Act consists of 52 Articles divided into 10 Parts and has 2 Schedules on currency point and Tenancy Agreement. Full text English
