The present Law enters into force on 1 September 1988.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Law is the economical and orderly use of land. Moreover, the Law serves to protect general living conditions, strives for an harmonious development of the Canton with a view to protect nature, landscape and cultural heritage. The text consists of 95 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Land use planning (II); Land development (III); Cantonal building regulations (IV); Building authorization proceedings (V); Final, penal and transitional provisions (VI).
