The present Regulations enter into force on 25 June 2001.
Abstract

The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Land Surveys Act. In particular, the Regulations apply to all lands in Saskatchewan: a) that are located in an area of Saskatchewan that the Lieutenant Governor in Council has designated pursuant to section 87 of the Act as an area to which the Act applies; and b) that are within the legislative competence of the Legislature. The text consists of 143 sections divided into 16 Parts as follows: Preliminary matters (I); Submission of plans (II); General requirements for plans (III); General requirements for surveys (IV); Additional circumstances where plans required (V); Primary subdivisions (VI); Secondary subdivisions (VII); Road and railway right-of-way (VIII); Mineral subdivisions (IX); Condominiums (X); Interest (XI); Maintenance information (XII); Miscellaneous (XIII); Transition and conversion (XIV); Searches of the land surveys (XV); Repeal and coming into force (XIV). Two Appendixes are enclosed.
