Abstract The present Law lays down provisions relating to land survey and the running of the land cadastre. Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law lists the functions of the official surveying and mapping, such as: 1) national land survey; 2) running of land cadastre; 3) conducting property surveys, including demarcation of parcel of lands; 4) producing evidence of borders; 5) providing geo-data information. The Law consists of 21 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Official land survey (I); Division of tasks (II); Publicly appointed surveyors (III); General provisions (IV); Final provisions (V).
