Abstract

This Act provides for the administration, control and use of certain lakes. Delegates for Lakes and inspectors are appointed by the director-general to enforce the provisions made under the present Act. For the purposes of the maintenance and preservation of a lake and the maintenance, testing and preservation of associated works, the Minister may authorise alterations in flow and water level. The Act sets the rules for the various uses of lakes as well as the rules for preventing collisions on lakes.
