This Agreement concerns the management of the Lake Eyre Basin. The purpose of the Agreement is to provide for the development, adoption and implementation of policies and strategies concerning water and related resources in the area covered by the Agreement to avoid or eliminate adverse cross-borders impacts (sect. 2.1).
