Abstract

These Regulations amend the Regulations relating to the matters regarding labelling of foodstuffs in regulations 1, 38, 47, 50 and 55 and Annexure 2. Amendments of regulation 1 add or revoke definitions of specific foodstuffs, whereas the other amendments delete or modify parts of provisions concerning labelling requirements regarding preservatives, misleading descriptions, nutritional information and repeal of legislation.
