An Act to amend the KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Management Act so as to insert certain additional definitions; to amend the definition of protected area; to provide for the appointment of honorary officers; to provide for the conservation of plants and animals; to provide for the control of hunting; to provide a procedure for the issue and enforcement of permits; and to provide for matters incidental thereto.

Abstract

This Act amends the KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Management Act in a wide variety of matters relating to, among other things, the establishment and powers and functions of the KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Board, the organization of the KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Service, powers of honorary officers, protected areas, hunting, etc.
