Its main functions are to render services as regards to water supply and collection and disposal of waste water. The Authority shall grant the supply of water to any applicant for the domestic purposes defined in section 38, and the Authority shall, under certain conditions, provide the owner or occupier of any premises with a sewerage connection. The Act further contains provisions on, inter alia, inspection and power of entry, taxes and fees, water meters, penalties and bye-laws.
