It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the Centre, entitled to: (a) make suggestions to the Government on all matters relating to production, rearing, stocking, marketing, transport, import and export of fish seed and its monitoring throughout, the State; (b) carry out such duties as to the registration of the fish seed farms and hatcheries and fish seed certification; (c) suggest and specify the quality of fish feed for fish seed rearing and fish culture; (d) make such other suggestions as may be required for carrying out the provisions of this Act and to perform any other duties which is supplemental, incidental or consequential to the aforesaid duties.
