Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Kenya Meat Commission Act, provide with respect appointment of inspectors for purposes of the Act. The Kenya Meat Commission may, from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, appoint such persons as it thinks fit to be inspectors for the purposes of these Regulations and all police officers shall be inspectors for the purposes of these Regulations. The Regulations also define powers of inspectors and defines offences related to obstructing the work of appointed inspectors.
