This Act entered into force on 20 February 2003.
Abstract

This Act sets the basis for wild animals keeping on the territory of the Gibraltar. The Act is divided into 15 sections. The tiles are as follows: Title and commencement (1); Interpretation and purpose (2); Licence (3); Exempted establishments (4); Application for licence (5); Grant of licence (6); Extension, amendment and transfer of a licence (7); Breach of licence and closure of zoo (8); Disposal of animals (9); Inspection (10); Charges by competent authority (11); Offences (12); Offences by corporations etc (13); Defences (14); and Regulations (15).
