Abstract

These By-laws shall apply to animals kept for commercial farming purposes within the urban area of the Karatu District Council. No person shall keep such animals within the urban area without a written permit of the District Executive Director. Animals shall be kept in structures approved by the Council and movement of those animals shall be require a permit of the District Executive Director, subject to exemptions listed in by-law 8 (by-law 4).
