Abstract This Joint Resolution, consisting of 7 articles, establishes the prohibited period for sowing and cultivating alive plants of cotton. It fixes for producers (specifying their municipalities), located in the North and Northeast of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, that from 15 September to 30 November of each year is mandatory the period of total absence of alive plants of cotton as well as cotton sowing.
