Abstract

This Joint Resolution, consisting of 19 articles, establishes the 'Voo Livre' Programme that creates the Registry for Wild Animal Rehabilitation Areas (ARAS) and Wild Animal Release Areas (ASAS). The ARAS and ASAS will be implemented through specific registration and authorization issued by the Environmental Institute of Paraná, observing the concepts, necessary documentation and instructions for the creation of these areas, as well as the guidelines, criteria and general procedures on the destination of wild animals originating from capture, seizure or voluntary delivery to registered and authorized areas. ARAS and ASAS are considered areas of ecological interest, since they provide the return of wild animals previously captive to nature, restoring the ecological function of these species in their natural habitats.
