Abstract

This Joint Order introduces prohibition for commercial, recreational and sport fishing related to fish species, crustaceans, molluscs and other living aquatic resources in natural fish habitats for a period of 60 days in the period from April 9 to June 7 inclusive, and in the waters that constitute the state border for duration of 45 days, from 24 April to 7 June inclusive, in the Prut River and in permanently or temporarily flooded areas adjacent to it, as well as in lake Stânca-Costești, in the Danube River in the area that forms the state border with the Republic of Bulgaria, state border with Ukraine, including the Gulf of Musura, in the Razim-Sinoe Complex and coastal lakes. In storage lakes intended for the production of electricity, in periods of prohibition it is prohibited directed descent of the water level in order to ensure protection of spawning grounds, with the exception of prevention of natural disasters.
