Abstract

The Federal Executive Bodies concerned by joint ruling decree to validate the Regulation. The Commission carries out research programs, expertise of the fish stock, co-ordination of scientific research programs aimed at the solution of the problems of protection, reproduction, rational use and extended reproduction of aquatic biodiversity of inland waters, territorial sea, EEZ, continental shelf and open zones of the World Ocean and provides for wide enlistment of scientific potential for the elaboration of the aforesaid issues. Interdepartmental ichthyological commission is posted under the joint authority of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, the Federal Fisheries Committee and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Commission has the status of a scientific research institute. The President heads interdepartmental ichthyological commission. The document consists of 4 Sections. Section 1 determines the purposes and the tasks of the Commission. Section 2 determines the structure and the composition of the Commission. Section 3 establishes the rights of the Commission and its members. Section 4 deals with financing of the Commission.
