This Joint Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Joint Order provides for the suspension of fishing activities for individual or fishing companies that do not comply with the good practices in fishing procedures, transport, storage and processing of fish products within the protected area of Fernando de Noronha Archipelago. The suspension includes the prohibition of trade and consumption of fish stocked in food services and shops, which fish is originated from the Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, until laboratory tests prove the non-contamination of that fish.
