Abstract

The Regulation is applicable to the cooperation between the institutions in the field of ensuring supervision over safety of foodstuffs and alimentary raw materials of animal origin, and also protection of animal and human health. The main directions of inter-action and cooperation are: 1) carrying out organizational, preventive and anti-epizootic arrangements aimed at prevention of the introduction of perilous animal disease subject to the imposition of quarantine and removal from circulation of injurious foodstuffs; 2) joint epidemiological, sanitary and veterinary inspection of cases human sickness transmitted by animals, birds, fishes or foodstuffs of animal origin. The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision and Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture forward to their divisions Regulation of Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding cooperation between State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision and Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and their territorial branches for guidance in everyday activity.
