This Decree-Law enters into force immediately on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Joint Ministerial Order approves the Regulation of the Special Provisioning Regime within the scope of Basic Baskets. The Regulation, consisting of 20 articles divided into six Chapters and one Annex, establishes the terms and conditions for granting the support created by Decree-Law No. 48/2020 of 7 October, which consists of the distribution of food and personal hygiene products, or purchase vouchers, to Timorese families. This activity will be carried out through contracts between the State and agricultural producers and commercial operators that are dedicated to the production, distribution or commercialization of agricultural products and also with institutions that provide the technical assistance necessary to pursue the purposes of such a Regime.
